How long does a website take to build?
A Starter site typically takes 2–3 weeks from design sign-off to launch. A Business site takes 3–5 weeks, and a Premium site is scoped individually. Timelines depend partly on how quickly you can provide feedback – we'll give you a clear project timeline at the start and keep you updated throughout.
Do I own my website once it's built?
Yes – completely. Your website, your domain, your hosting account. We hand over everything at the end of the project with no strings attached. There are no ongoing fees for the website itself unless you choose to add SEO or PPC.
Do you write the content for the website?
Yes, copy is included as standard. We write all the page content based on your discovery call and any information you provide about your business. If you'd prefer to write your own copy, that's absolutely fine too – we'll give you clear guidance on what each page needs.
What platform do you build on?
We build on WordPress – one of the world's most widely used and flexible website platforms. It gives you complete control over your own content without needing a developer for day-to-day updates, and it scales with your business as you grow.
Can you move my existing website from Wix or Squarespace?
Yes – this is one of the most common reasons businesses come to us. Wix and Squarespace can get you started, but they limit your growth, your SEO, and your ability to customise. Our Website Refresh package includes platform migration and gets you onto a proper foundation for £1,495 +VAT.
Will my website rank on Google?
Every website we build includes on-page SEO setup as standard – title tags, meta descriptions, image optimisation, and Google Search Console submission. For ongoing rankings growth you'll need a monthly SEO campaign. We offer SEO packages from £449/month that work directly alongside your new site.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We work on a 50% deposit at project start, with the remaining 50% due on launch. For larger projects we can structure payments across three stages. Get in touch to discuss what works best for you.
What happens to my site after launch – do I have to use you for hosting?
No – you own your site completely and you're free to host it wherever you like. That said, most of our clients choose to stay with us for hosting and maintenance after launch. We keep your WordPress installation, plugins, and security up to date so you don't have to think about it – and if anything ever goes wrong, we're already familiar with your site. If you choose to host elsewhere, we'll hand everything over but won't be able to provide ongoing WordPress support, which does leave your site more exposed to security risks over time.
